Home Automation hardware in use

I don't have a PC running 24/7 just for my Home Automation. I used to, but not anymore. Not since i built a new fileserver in April 2008, with these specs:
  • Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 motherboard; more..
  • Intel Core2 Duo E8200 @ 2,66 GHz; more..
  • 8 GB RAM;
  • 2 x 250 GB OS Hard drives;
  • 2 x 1 TB Hard drives for file storage.
This server is running on MS Windows Server 2008 Standard x64. It has the Hyper-V server role installed and i created a couple of Virtual Machines on it, one of them being a Domotica-VM.
Total power usage of this system, which is operational since May 2008, is 60-65W.
The most important interfaces i use to communicate with all the modules and sensors are:
  • 1-Wire Serial adapter (DS9097U-S09)  more..
  • ACT TI-213 (X10 Powerline) more..
  • RFXCOM 868 MHz Master receiver for Visonic more..
  • RFXCOM 433 MHz Slave receiver for X10 + Oregon more..
  • RFXCOM 433 MHz transmitter more..
  • RFXCOM 433 MHz Master receiver for X10, KlikOn-KlikOff, Elro, Nexa
  • RFXCOM RFXMeter with 3 RFXPulse modules more..
  • RFXCOM 2-port Ethernet Interface more..
  • RFXCOM Serial module, used for PTZ control of camera more..
  • EDS HA7Net more..
  • PLCBUS PLC1411 Serial Interface more..
  • IRTrans Infrared Transmitter/Receiver
  • Sollae EZL-200F Ethernet-RS232 converter more..
  • Sollae EZL-400S 4-port Ethernet-RS232 converter
  • Lava 2-port Ethernet-RS232 Device Server more..
  • Plugwise Source software
